韩世辉,分别于1988 年7 月,1991 年7 月,1995 年 6 月在中国科学技术老员工物系获生物物理学专业学士、硕士、博士学位。 1991 年7 月至1996年2月中国科学技术大学(北京)认知科学实验室工作,讲师,副教授。1996 年3 月至7 月英国 Birmingham 大学心理学院访问学者,1996 年9 月至1997 年5 月美国加州Martinez VA医院博士后。1997 年6 月至1999 年8 月中国科技大学研究生院工作,副教授。1999 年9 月至2001 年7 月美国加州Martinez VA医院Research Fellow。2001 年8 月被聘为永利集团心理学系(现yl23411永利)教授, 认知神经科学教研室主任,2003 年12 月-2008年7月任永利集团心理学系(现yl23411永利)主任,2008年至2012任永利集团心理学系(现yl23411永利)学术委员会主任,2013年至2017任yl23411永利学位委员会主任。 2013年被聘为永利集团McGovern脑研究所研究员。2015-2016牛津大学心理学系访问教授。2003年获得国家杰出青年基金, 2004 年获第八届中国青年科技奖。2006 年获中国高等学校科学技术奖(自然科学奖)二等奖。主要从事认知心理学和文化与社会认知神经科学研究,主持完成国家科技部重大基础研究前期专项, 国家基金委重点项目、重大国际合作项目和973项目子课题等。目前主要研究感觉经验、文化经验、社会组群关系和基因如何影响人类的社会认知(包括自我面孔识别、自我参照加工、痛觉共情、面孔社会分类、群体冲突、死亡意识等)及神经机制。提出并发表关于人类发展的文化-行为-大脑环路理论模型、关于社会群体加工的不对称种族加工理论模型、以及催产素社会适应功能理论模型 等。2017年牛津大学出版社出版学术专著《The Sociocultural Brain》。以第一作者或通讯作者在Nature Review Neuroscience, Nature Human Behaviour, Annual Review of Psychology, Trends in Cognitive Sciences, PNAS,Brain, eLife, Cerebral Cortex, Journal of Neuroscience, Neuropsychopharmacology, Psychological Science, Psychological Inquiry, Journal of Experimental Psychology: Genral, Journal of Experimental Psychology: Human Perception and Performance, Journal of Social Experimental Psychology, NeuroImage, Human Brain Mapping, Journal of Cognitive Neuroscience, Social Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience, Social Neuroscience, Biological Psychology, Culture and Brain等学术期刊上发表二百余篇学术论文,并被国际同行多次引用。编著《认知神经科学》和《Culture and Neural Frames of Cognition and Communication》两部学术专著。多次在国内、外学术会议上做大会报告。2013年创办了由Springer出版社发行的国际学术期刊《Culture and Brain》并任主编,《Social Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience 》和《Neuroscience Bulletin》副主编,四十余家等国际学术期刊和八个国际基金组织评审人。培养多名研究生在国内多所大学和研究所任教或做PI。在永利集团讲授生理心理学, 认知神经科学, 社会认知神经科学, 知觉与注意等课程。在耶鲁大学讲授“Cognitive Neuroscience”和“Culture, Brain, and Behavior”两门暑期课程。
探索大脑各种认知功能的认知和神经机制是我们研究工作的目标。我们利用实验心理学、神经心理学的实验方法和认知神经科学的多种脑成像技术,主要研究:
(1)视知觉和注意的认知和神经机制
人类如何加工复杂的视觉世界?如何选择最重要的信息?我们使用各种实验手段研究不同视知觉组织规律之间的关系及其神经基础,研究大脑加工复杂视觉刺激的整体和局部性质在时间和空间两个方面的差异,研究空间选择性注意的认知和神经机制。
(2)社会认知的认知和神经机制
人类如何理解他人的情感、意图、信念等心理活动?人类如何思考自己?这些问题对于个人的心理健康、社会活动的正常进行和构建和谐的社会环境具有重要的意义。我们使用各种实验手段来研究这些关于社会认知的心理和脑基础,特别是关于自己和他人的情绪、意图和信念等社会信息的认知和神经机制。这些研究工作对于理解人脑社会认知功能的心理和脑机制有重要的科学意义,在儿童教育和指导成人社会行为等方面有重要的应用价值。
(3) 文化对大脑认知功能及其神经机制的影响
人类生活在不同的社会文化环境中, 不同的文化环境是否及如何影响人类社会认知的加工过程和相关的神经机制, 是我们感兴趣的另一个研究领域.
主要研究手段
功能磁共振成像(functional magnetic resonance imaging, fMRI) 测量大脑血液动力学指标的变化,以高空间分辨率(毫米)对复杂的大脑认知活动进行空间定位。
事件相关电位 (event related potentia, ERP) 测量大脑神经电位同步活动,以高时间分辨率(毫秒)研究大脑各种认知活动的神经机制.
穿颅磁刺激(trancranial magnetic stimulation, TMS) 用微弱的磁场干扰大脑特定部位的神经活动,观察这些干扰与某种特定的认知活动的关系,从而确定认知功能的神经基础。
神经心理学(brain lesion studies) 结合行为实验和各种脑成像技术,研究大脑特定部位损伤与特定认知功能改变的关系,确定知觉、注意等脑功能的神经基础。
